Cybersecurity Technical Manager

About the role

The Cybersecurity Technical Manager leads the Security Operations Services (SOS) department, providing technical and operational direction to protect the organization’s information assets. Reporting to executive management, this role ensures the delivery of high‑quality security monitoring, incident response, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and compliance services for internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the organization’s cybersecurity strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Establish and enforce security governance, policies, standards, procedures and frameworks.
• Lead and mentor cybersecurity teams, ensuring they have the resources, skills and capabilities to succeed.
• Oversee security monitoring, threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management and regulatory compliance activities.
• Define governance, metrics and reporting to measure performance and improve security maturity.
• Direct response to major incidents, coordinate post‑incident reviews and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with internal departments, customers, vendors and industry partners to promote a culture of security awareness.
• Monitor emerging threats and evaluate new security tools and technologies.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading security operations or SOC teams in a complex environment.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity risk management, threat intelligence and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with executive management, customers and external stakeholders.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement and foster collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
