Cybersecurity Technical Manager

About the role

The Cybersecurity Technical Manager leads the Security Operations Services (SOS) department, providing technical and operational direction to protect the organization’s assets. Reporting to executive management, the role ensures the delivery of high‑quality security services to both internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the organization’s cybersecurity strategy aligned with business goals.
• Lead and mentor SOS teams, overseeing security monitoring, incident response, offensive assessments, threat intelligence, vulnerability management and compliance activities.
• Establish governance, metrics and reporting frameworks to measure security performance and maturity.
• Direct response to major cyber incidents, conduct post‑incident reviews and communicate with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal departments, vendors and industry partners, representing the organization in technical forums.
• Monitor emerging threats and evaluate new security tools to improve resilience.
• Provide technical expertise during presales activities and support business development initiatives.

• Proven senior‑level experience leading cybersecurity operations and teams.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to advise executive leadership on risk and emerging threats.
