Cybersecurity Sales Engineer

About the role

The Cybersecurity Sales Engineer will drive new business opportunities across Lebanon and Syria, combining deep technical understanding of cybersecurity solutions with consultative sales expertise. The role requires translating customer security challenges into tailored solutions and managing the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to closure.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and develop new customers through direct outreach, networking, partners, events, and referrals.
• Manage the complete sales cycle: qualification, proposal, negotiation, closing, and handover to implementation teams.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with customers and partners by understanding their business objectives and security needs.
• Recommend appropriate cybersecurity products and services based on customer requirements.
• Conduct presentations, product demos, and technical discussions with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and RFP responses in coordination with internal technical teams.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, provide forecasts, and achieve assigned KPIs.
• Identify cross‑selling and up‑selling opportunities within existing accounts.
• Research target markets, monitor cybersecurity trends, and track competitors.
• Keep CRM records up‑to‑date with leads, opportunities, interactions, and sales activities.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, including 2‑3 years in sales.
• Strong knowledge of the Lebanese market; cybersecurity experience is a plus.
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CRM software.
