Cybersecurity Operations Manager

About the role

The Cybersecurity Operations Manager leads the Security Operations Services Department, providing technical and operational leadership to ensure effective security monitoring, incident response, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the organization’s cybersecurity strategy, governance, policies, and frameworks aligned with business objectives.
• Lead and manage cybersecurity teams, overseeing SOC operations, threat response, vulnerability management, and compliance activities.
• Direct major incident response efforts, coordinate post‑incident reviews, and communicate with executives and stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement by monitoring emerging threats, evaluating security tools, and promoting security awareness.
• Collaborate with internal departments, customers, vendors, and industry partners to enhance the security posture.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field, with preferred certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CRISC.
• 10+ years of cybersecurity experience, including leadership roles in SOC management, incident response, Red Teaming, GRC, and security strategy development.
• Strong leadership, team management, and mentoring abilities with a proactive risk‑management mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of advising executive management.

Required skills

• SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, EDR, and vulnerability management tools.
• Cloud security expertise.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and standards: NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, SAMA, NCA, NDPR.
• SOC management and incident response.
• Red Teaming and GRC processes.
• Security strategy development.
