Construction Draftsman – Luxury Projects

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Draftsman to join a leading construction contractor delivering luxury high‑end developments in the GCC. The role involves preparing accurate technical, shop and as‑built drawings to support the execution of prestigious residential, hospitality and mixed‑use projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and revise detailed construction, shop and as‑built drawings in line with project specifications.
• Produce architectural, structural and MEP drawings based on engineering designs.
• Coordinate drawings with architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors and site teams to ensure design accuracy and constructability.
• Update drawings to reflect design changes, site instructions and approved revisions.
• Review drawings for completeness, accuracy and compliance with codes and standards.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision histories and document control procedures.
• Support preparation of technical submittals and construction documentation.
• Resolve drawing discrepancies and technical queries with site engineers.
• Ensure timely issuance of drawings according to project schedules.
• Prepare as‑built documentation for project handover and maintain organized electronic and hard‑copy records.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Drafting or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of drafting experience in the construction industry.
• Experience on luxury residential, hospitality, commercial or mixed‑use developments.
• Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential).
• Experience with Revit and BIM software (highly desirable).
• Strong understanding of construction drawing standards and coordination of architectural, structural and MEP disciplines.
