Cinematography Internship – Advertisements and Social Media Videos

About the role

A recruitment agency is looking for motivated Cinematography Interns to join its marketing team for a 12-week, project-based internship focused on producing advertisements, social media videos and promotional campaigns. The internship covers the full content production process, from pre-production planning and videography to editing, color grading and final delivery. It is part-time, with availability two to three days per week, and filming takes place in partner studios and offices in Lebanon as well as on location.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in the full production of advertisements, social media videos, promotional campaigns, interviews and other branded content.
• Help with pre-production: content concepts, shot lists, storyboards, filming schedules, production plans and equipment requirements.
• Research and select filming locations, props, wardrobe and visual references; contribute ideas on visual storytelling and campaign concepts.
• Film professional-quality content with cameras and mobile phones, and capture B-roll, field footage and promotional material.
• Support creative direction and on-set direction of cast, and help manage their schedules, wardrobe and positioning.
• Review recorded footage for missing shots, technical issues and continuity problems.
• Edit raw footage into polished videos, handling sequencing, transitions, subtitles, graphics, music and audio cleanup.
• Learn and apply color correction and color grading.

Required profile

• No previous professional experience required.
• Preferred: personal projects, coursework, freelance work or other creative experience in cinematography, videography, filmmaking, video editing, photography or content creation.
• Preferred: currently studying or recently graduated in Film, Cinematography, Radio and Television, Multimedia, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or Advertising.
• Strong interest in producing advertisements, social media videos and branded visual campaigns.
• Comfortable filming on site in studios, offices, events, public spaces, outdoor and rural locations.
• Candidates able to travel freely in Lebanon by their own car are preferred; a valid driver's license is strongly preferred.

• Ability to translate creative concepts into practical scenes and shots.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration with creative, production, media and marketing teams.
