About the role
The Advancement Entity seeks a Writer to craft compelling content that engages donors, alumni, and partners. Based primarily on the Beirut campus, the role collaborates with colleagues in New York and various university stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Write and edit high‑impact materials such as donor proposals, stewardship reports, campaign messaging, and alumni engagement content.
- Translate complex academic initiatives into clear, persuasive narratives for newsletters, digital platforms, and special publications.
- Conduct research, attend events, and interview stakeholders to develop authentic stories.
- Partner with graphic designers and digital staff to produce integrated, multi‑platform content.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism, English, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional writing experience, preferably in higher education.
- Excellent writing, editing, interviewing, and storytelling abilities in English and Arabic.
- Strong organizational and project‑management skills with ability to work across time zones.
