Cinematography Intern – Video Production

About the role

A recruitment agency is looking for motivated Cinematography Interns to join its marketing team for a 12-week, project-based internship focused on producing advertisements, social media videos and promotional campaigns. The internship covers the full content production process, from pre-production planning and videography to editing, color grading and final delivery. It is part-time, with availability two to three days per week, and filming takes place in partner studios and offices in Lebanon as well as on location.

Key responsibilities

• Support pre-production planning: content concepts, shot lists, storyboards, filming schedules, production plans and equipment requirements.
• Help research filming locations, props, wardrobe and visual references, and contribute ideas on visual storytelling and campaign concepts.
• Learn to turn scripts and creative concepts into planned scenes, then film professional-quality content with cameras and mobile phones.
• Assist creative direction by guiding visual style, mood, pacing, performance and scene execution.
• Communicate production needs to cast, help manage their schedules, wardrobe and positioning, and organize sets and equipment.
• Review recorded footage for missing shots, technical issues and continuity problems.
• Edit raw footage into advertisements, social media videos and promotional content, handling sequencing, transitions, subtitles, graphics, music and sound.
• Apply color correction and color grading to create consistent, professional videos.

Required profile

• No previous professional experience required; personal projects, coursework or freelance work is preferred.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or training in Film, Cinematography, Multimedia, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or Advertising is preferred.
• Strong interest in producing ads, social media videos and branded campaigns, and understanding of short-form video and digital content best practices.
• Comfortable filming on site in studios, offices, events, public spaces, outdoor and rural locations.
• Ability to work with creative, production, media and marketing teams.
• Candidates who can travel freely in Lebanon by their own car and hold a valid driver's license are preferred.
