Business Development Representative - Freight Forwarding

About the role

Antarsped Forwarding Services, a freight forwarding company founded in 1976 and based in Beirut, is looking for a full-time, on-site Business Development Representative to drive business growth in Lebanon. The role focuses on identifying and acquiring new clients, developing commercial opportunities and expanding the company's presence in the freight forwarding and logistics market.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect potential clients and conduct cold calls and outreach
• Arrange client visits and meetings and present the company's services
• Prepare and follow up on quotations and negotiate rates
• Build a sales pipeline and work towards business development targets
• Build long-term business relationships

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in sales and/or logistics; experience in both is a strong advantage
• Good knowledge of the Lebanese market and ability to spot new business opportunities
• Fluency in English and Arabic; French is a plus
• Ability to work on-site in Beirut and collaborate with the team

Required skills

• Strong prospecting, negotiation and client relationship management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience is a plus
