Business Developer – Pharmaceutical

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Business Developer to lead our pharmaceutical operations in Qatar, driving strategic initiatives, market expansion, and partnership creation.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and prioritize in‑licensing, co‑development and partnership opportunities across the Middle East.
• Build and maintain relationships with pharma companies, research institutions, government bodies and industry stakeholders.
• Conduct market analysis, competitive intelligence and monitor regulatory developments.
• Lead negotiations for licensing, co‑development and alliance agreements, managing due diligence and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with R&D, regulatory, legal, manufacturing and commercial teams to ensure feasibility and compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration or related field; MBA or Master’s highly desirable.
• 8‑15 years of experience in pharmaceutical business development, alliance or portfolio management.
• Proven track record of negotiating and executing strategic deals.
• Experience in Middle Eastern or emerging pharma markets is a strong advantage.
