Automation Builder

About the role

This is a fully remote Automation Builder position working from home, with regular updates shared with the team. Reliable automations reduce repeated manual work and help colleagues' requests move forward with fewer mistakes. You turn requests into connected steps that run without someone clicking each action, following agreed rules and with a technology team lead guiding your choices and reviewing your work. The role pays a monthly base salary of USD 1,260 to 1,500 plus bonus opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Build automations that run without manual clicks using an automation tool such as n8n, connecting tools through agreed steps.
• Review incoming requests in a work management tool such as ClickUp, keeping track of requests, priorities and progress.
• Ask colleagues how they complete work today, write down the steps, expected results and points needing human judgment, then choose a simple design with the team lead.
• Write and improve prompts for an AI assistant such as Gemini, checking every answer before use.
• Test normal cases, missing details, repeated requests and failed connections, fix problems and add alerts and checks for stopped workflows or doubtful answers.
• Write short guides explaining how each automation works, who owns it and how to handle common problems safely.
• Watch new workflows after release, respond to reported problems and keep a clear list of changes and improvements.
• Share test results for review and meet quality standards through reliable runs, accurate results and clear notes.

Required profile

• Hands-on experience building real automations or AI workflows, including work and personal projects.
• Conversational spoken English and clear written English.
• A computer, a mobile phone, a stable internet connection and reliable electricity.
• Ability to map a process into clear starting points, actions, checks and outcomes, and to explain conditions, repeated steps and failed connections with simple examples.
• Careful testing habits, including checking AI answers against the original request.
• Clear written updates and respect for private information, with careful access choices and up-to-date setup notes.

Required skills

• Familiarity with an automation tool such as n8n, or readiness to develop workflow skills with guidance.
• Structured onboarding and guidance provided on n8n, Gemini and ClickUp.
