Area Manager – Entry Level (2026) – Tennessee

About the role

Amazon is looking for recent or upcoming graduates to join its Operations network as an Area Manager in Tennessee. This full‑time, entry‑level position is based on the floor of a fulfillment, sort, or delivery facility where you will lead a team of hourly associates.

Key responsibilities

• Support, mentor and motivate 50‑100 direct‑report Amazon Associates.
• Maintain safety, quality, attendance and performance standards.
• Oversee truck deliveries, sort packages, and operate pallet jacks or PIT equipment where applicable.
• Work shifts up to 12 hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, typically on a 4‑day work week.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 49 lb, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, reaching and climbing stairs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree completed between May 2024 and August 2026 (all requirements must be met before the first day).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
• Degree in Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or a related field.
