Accounting Lead

About the role

ALFA is seeking a remote Accounting Lead to oversee financial operations, drive process improvements, and mentor a team of accounting specialists. Key responsibilities

• Maintain precise financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Process payroll accurately, handling taxes and deductions.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial transactions.
• Provide insightful financial information and recommendations to management.
• Develop and enforce accounting processes, controls, and best practices.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of accounting specialists.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of senior‑level bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, controls, and tax regulations.
• Proven ability to manage small portfolios and meet deadlines.
• Fluent written and verbal communication in English and French.
