About the role

Moustasharoun Bureau is seeking an experienced accountant to manage tax documentation, ensure compliance, and support audit activities for its diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• File and archive tax documents and supporting evidence.
• Verify invoices, expenses, and supporting documents for tax compliance.
• Prepare reconciliations for VAT, withholding tax, and tax accounts.
• Prepare and review VAT declarations and tax‑related reports.
• Review accounting entries related to VAT and taxation before submission.
• Coordinate with accounting teams to collect missing documents and data.
• Follow up on corrections, adjustments, and tax‑related discrepancies.
• Monitor compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
• Assist in preparing documents required for audits and tax inspections.
• Communicate with clients regarding missing documents, declarations, and tax requirements.

Required profile

• Previous experience in audit or an accounting firm.
• Strong knowledge of local tax laws, VAT, and withholding tax.
• Ability to meet deadlines and adhere to company standards.
• Effective coordination with internal departments to resolve operational and taxation issues.
