Senior Accountant Team Leader – Brazzaville, Congo

About the role

Codimex Group is seeking a Senior Accountant Team Leader to join its finance team in Brazzaville, Congo. This full‑time, on‑site position will lead accounting operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide strategic financial insights to support the Group’s growth across Central and West Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate financial statements and manage month‑end close processes.
• Develop and monitor budgets, financial forecasts, and strategic plans.
• Maintain comprehensive accounting records, reconcile accounts, and oversee accounts payable and receivable.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
• Prepare tax filings and support the Group’s tax compliance initiatives.
• Analyze financial data, generate reports, and present insights to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Proven experience in a senior accounting role within a corporate or multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and auditing practices.
• Fluency in French is highly preferred; English proficiency is an advantage.
• Familiarity with the Central African regulatory and economic environment.
