Junior POS Technician

About the role

The Junior POS Technician supports the preparation, installation and basic maintenance of point‑of‑sale (POS) terminals for client sites across Lebanon. Working closely with senior technicians and operations teams, you will ensure devices are configured correctly, deployed on time and operate reliably.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, configure and test POS terminals before deployment.
• Install and set up POS devices at client locations, verifying connectivity and basic settings.
• Provide first‑level technical support, diagnosing common hardware or software issues.
• Perform routine maintenance, updates and simple repairs on existing terminals.
• Document installations, interventions and issues for follow‑up.
• Coordinate with technical and operations teams to ensure smooth, timely deployments.
• Assist senior technicians with complex installations or system upgrades.

Required profile

• 0‑2 years of experience in an IT or technology role, familiar with installation procedures.
• Professional proficiency in English and the local language.
• Basic understanding of POS hardware and software.
• Knowledge of simple networking concepts such as Wi‑Fi and LAN.
• Willingness to travel regularly across Lebanon and work independently on‑site.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and teamwork skills.
