About the role
The bank is seeking a proactive Human Resources Officer to support its HR strategy and ensure compliance with local regulations. You will act as a key liaison between the bank, government entities, and employees, handling payroll, benefits, and recruitment processes.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing the bank’s HR strategy.
- Implement HR policies and practices in line with legal requirements.
- Coordinate with Social Security, Ministry of Labor, Ministry of Finance, Central Bank, and banking associations.
- Manage staff medical matters and maintain relationships with insurance providers.
- Prepare, validate, and process monthly, quarterly, and yearly NSSF/tax contributions and ensure accurate reconciliation.
- Oversee efficient payroll processing.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee record maintenance.
- Contribute to HR initiatives, system improvements, and compliance reporting.
Required profile
- 3‑5 years of experience in Human Resources and payroll.
- Strong knowledge of labor law, NSSF, and Ministry of Finance requirements.
- High integrity, confidentiality, and excellent communication skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Office.
