Field Service Technician (Food & Beverage Industrial Machinery & Equipment)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Field Service Technician to support our Italian food and beverage machinery portfolio across the Gulf, Middle East and West Africa. The role involves installing, commissioning, maintaining and troubleshooting industrial equipment at customer sites, with extensive travel required.

Key responsibilities

• Install and commission new food & beverage machines and packaging lines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues on 24 V and 380 V systems.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams and DWG layouts for accurate equipment alignment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic faults on large industrial machines.
• Document all interventions and produce detailed technical reports.
• Train customers’ technical staff on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Maintain strong communication and relationships with clients throughout West Africa.

Required profile

• BS or TS degree in industrial electronics, electromechanical, automation or related field.
• Proven experience with 24 V and 380 V electrical systems on packaging assembly lines.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and DWG layouts.
• Solid mechanical assembly knowledge.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment.
