Accountant – Intermediate or Senior (On‑site, Beirut)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our Beirut office on a full‑time, on‑site basis. The position is suitable for candidates at an intermediate or senior level who can take ownership of the full accounting cycle and support our clients across the MENA region.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation.
• Perform bank and ledger reconciliations and maintain up‑to‑date accounting records.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, corporate tax filings, income tax, and social security obligations.
• Assist internal and external auditors during audit engagements.
• Analyse financial data to provide insights for management decision‑making and support budgeting and forecasting activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• 3‑5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting practices, financial reporting and budgeting.
• Experience working in the MENA region or with international accounting standards is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem‑solving abilities and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks or comparable platforms.
