Travel Officer

About the role

Chedid Capital Group, an investment group in the (re)insurance industry with subsidiaries across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia, is looking for a Travel Officer. The role coordinates employee business travel, including flights and hotels, visas, transport and travel documentation, ensuring accurate, timely arrangements and good coordination with employees and external service providers.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange flight bookings, hotel reservations, airport transfers and other travel services.
• Process visa applications, review travel documents and keep accurate visa records and databases.
• Monitor visa requirements for frequently visited destinations and share relevant updates.
• Create and maintain traveler profiles on Amadeus or other travel systems.
• Maintain travel records, booking information and travel activity reports.
• Review travel invoices, track costs and coordinate with Finance on payments and discrepancies.
• Coordinate with employees, internal departments, airlines, travel agencies and hotels.
• Ensure compliance with travel policies, procedures and approval requirements.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Travel & Tourism Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a travel agency, airline or corporate travel function.
• Fluency in English; Arabic and/or French is an advantage.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of airline ticketing, hotel reservations and visa processing.
• Proficiency in a Global Distribution System (GDS); Amadeus experience preferred.
• Strong organization and MS Office.
