Telemarketer - Insurance Sector

About the role

A motivated, confident and results-driven Telemarketer is sought for the insurance sector. The role involves contacting potential and existing customers, introducing insurance products and services, identifying their needs and scheduling appointments for the sales team. Working hours are 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to potential and existing customers to introduce insurance products and services.
• Explain insurance plans, coverage options and benefits clearly and professionally.
• Identify customer needs and generate qualified leads for the sales team.
• Schedule appointments and follow up with interested prospects.
• Maintain accurate records of calls, customer information and follow-ups in the CRM system.
• Handle customer questions and objections professionally.
• Achieve daily, weekly and monthly call and lead-generation targets.
• Follow company policies, customer privacy requirements and insurance and telemarketing regulations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field is an advantage.
• Previous experience in telemarketing, telesales, customer service or sales is preferred.
• Fluency in the required languages for the target market.

Required skills

• Excellent verbal communication and active listening.
• Persuasion, negotiation and interpersonal skills, and ability to handle objections.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM systems or Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and meet performance targets.

What we offer

• Salary of $550 per month plus commission.
