Senior Financial Executive

About the role

The Senior Financial Executive will lead financial governance, internal audit, budgeting and control across a multi‑location retail and manufacturing business in Nigeria. Acting as the sole finance control function, you will ensure robust internal controls, accurate reporting and risk mitigation for all business units.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and monitor internal control frameworks for retail showrooms and manufacturing sites.
• Conduct internal audits covering cash handling, inventory, procurement, payroll and expense processes.
• Lead company‑wide budgeting, forecasting and rolling financial planning.
• Perform variance and profitability analysis at entity, showroom and departmental levels.
• Partner with operations, supply chain and showroom managers to embed financial controls in daily activities.
• Develop, standardise and enforce SOPs across all locations.
• Conduct financial modelling and feasibility studies for new showrooms and expansion projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA is a strong advantage.
• Extensive experience in financial controls, internal audit, budgeting and financial planning.
• Proven ability to analyse financial performance and provide actionable insights.
