About the role
Halbawi Industry & Trading Co. is a leading Lebanese manufacturer and retailer of mattresses, foam products, and home furnishings. We are looking for a Senior Accountant to oversee all accounting operations across our multi‑branch network and support strategic financial decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Manage receivables, payables and the general ledger.
- Lead month‑end closing, reconciliation and audit processes.
- Ensure compliance with tax, VAT and Lebanese regulatory requirements.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis for management.
- Supervise and mentor junior accountants.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- 5–7 years of strong accounting experience, preferably in retail or multi‑branch operations.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting standards and Lebanese regulations.
- Strong leadership and problem‑solving abilities.
Required skills
- Advanced MS Excel
- Proficiency with accounting systems
