Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead and manage the accounting, financial planning, and reporting functions, driving financial performance and supporting decision‑making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the accounting function including AP, AR, and General Ledger.
• Ensure timely, accurate transaction recording and periodic reconciliations.
• Maintain the fixed assets register and accounting policies.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, banks, auditors, and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee accounts receivable billing, payments, and follow‑up.
• Lead accounts payable processes, invoice review, and vendor dispute resolution.
• Prepare financial statements, manage internal and external audits, and liaise with auditors.
• Produce monthly financial reports for management and shareholders, and design MIS templates.
• Handle cost reporting, project cost reviews, and variation orders.
• Lead compliance reporting for government statistics and regulatory requirements.
• Build and manage the finance team, conduct evaluations, and address training needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting.
• Qualified accountant (CA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
• 10‑12 years of finance experience in real‑estate development or construction.
• 5 years in a managerial position.
• Strong financial and business acumen with experience handling large, complex portfolios.
