School-Based Therapist/Counselor (Licensed)

About the role

Compass Health Network is hiring a School-Based Therapist/Counselor to provide mental health services directly in schools, serving all grade levels in the Lebanon School District. The role works Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, and offers a $1,000 retention bonus. It suits someone who enjoys partnering with school staff, values early intervention and prefers the stability of a full-time clinical role with no billing or marketing.

Key responsibilities

• Provide mental health therapy (individual, family and/or group) to students based on their needs
• Complete initial evaluations, diagnostic assessments and treatment plans with the student and family
• Coordinate care with school staff, families and other Compass providers
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation within 24 hours of service delivery
• Take part in school meetings and act as a mental health resource and consultant to school personnel
• Support crisis intervention and safety planning, with 24/7 access to Compass's crisis resources
• Work with a multi-disciplinary team to provide wraparound care for each student

Required profile

• Master's degree in a human service-related field
• LCSW, LPC or LMFT (or provisional) license valid in Missouri
• Passion for the mental health of children, teens and families
• Comfortable collaborating with teachers, counselors and administrators
