About the role
A leading FMCG, cosmetics and personal‑care company is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead sales operations across Iraq and Syria. The role focuses on driving revenue growth, expanding market share and building strong distributor and client relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute country‑specific sales strategies for Iraq and Syria, aligned with regional and global objectives.
- Drive market expansion by analysing market trends, competitor activity and identifying new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, key accounts and strategic partners, negotiating commercial agreements.
- Lead, coach and develop the sales team, setting clear objectives and monitoring performance.
- Manage the sales budget, monitor forecasts, profitability and ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product Development, Supply Chain and other functions to support product launches and promotional campaigns.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Management or a related field.
- Professional certifications in Sales, Business Development or Leadership (advantageous).
- Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven experience in FMCG, cosmetics or personal‑care sales, preferably across multiple markets.
