Sales Associate - Furniture Showroom

About the role

AIHOM-ISTIKBAL is looking for a sales associate to join its sales team in a furniture showroom in Mecharafieh. The working schedule is from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, six days a week, with Sunday off.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers on the sales floor and provide customer service to all visitors.
• Present, promote and sell products and services to existing and prospective customers, and follow up with them after their visit.
• Keep the showroom up to standard, complete the daily showroom checklist, check for missing items and order new ones, and price the showroom.
• Assist with seasonal inventories and implement window and interior displays as directed by Visual Merchandising.
• Advise customers on furniture size, period style, colour, fabric and wood, and take measurements for specific items.
• Unroll bolts of curtains and carpets to show fabrics, close deals and walk customers to the door.
• Coordinate item delivery, check the condition of items before delivery and supply management reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitors and new product opportunities.
• Meet pre-set monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets and build long-lasting customer relationships based on feedback.

Required profile

• Interior design background.
• 2 years of experience in a related job function.
• Knowledge of the furniture business.
