Sales Associate – Fashion Retail

About the role

The Sales Associate will deliver fast, friendly service on the shop floor, actively engaging customers and promoting the latest fashion collections. You will maintain strong client relationships, drive sales, and ensure the store’s inventory is consistently stocked and visually appealing.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a strong floor presence, greet customers, and address their needs promptly.
• Cross‑sell products across departments and provide feedback on new collections.
• Stay informed on fashion trends, brands, and seasonal releases.
• Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and visual merchandising standards.
• Achieve individual and department sales targets each month.
• Process all POS transactions, promote loyalty cards and related services.
• Update the customer database and follow up with clients regularly.
• Handle basic alterations according to tailoring guidelines.
• Collect customer feedback, resolve complaints, and suggest ideas to boost sales.
• Monitor competitor activity through market visits and reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field (or equivalent undergraduate studies).
• Maximum of 1 year of retail or sales experience.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain focus for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail, quick reaction time, and a passion for fashion.
• Professional appearance, discretion, and customer‑centric attitude.
