Reservations Ticketing Agent

About the role

The Reservations Ticketing Agent provides a full‑service, professional reservations and ticketing experience to customers and travel businesses via phone or in‑person meetings. The role focuses on delivering accurate fare quotes, issuing tickets, and ensuring high customer satisfaction while meeting revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of telephone calls and passenger inquiries efficiently.
• Issue tickets and quote correct fares and tariffs to minimize complaints.
• Maintain and update the customer database.
• Process IATA and BSP transactions.
• Calculate and process ticket refunds and re‑issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in reservations and ticketing at an IATA‑registered travel agency.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Service‑oriented, strong communicator, able to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of the AMADEUS reservation system.
• Experience handling IATA and BSP procedures.
• Proficient computer skills for ticketing operations.
