Procurement Officer – Procurement Office (Bshamoun)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Procurement Officer to join our Bshamoun office in Lebanon. You will work closely with the Procurement Manager to ensure the best value for money, maintain optimal stock levels, and support our high‑quality food‑ingredient business.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Procurement Manager in developing and executing the department’s strategic plan.
• Prepare and submit stock analysis reports based on item movement and sales feedback.
• Coordinate the requisition process: review pro‑formas and quotations, issue purchase orders, and manage related documentation.
• Maintain purchase‑order accuracy, including quantities, dates, special instructions, and terms.
• Monitor inventory levels, prevent gaps, and keep detailed records.
• Generate daily procurement‑cycle reports to ensure timely product delivery.
• Update and manage the supplier database with accurate information.
• Arrange insurance for upcoming shipments and handle customs documentation.
• Enter special orders into the ERP system and provide customers with Certificates of Analysis and Technical Data Sheets.
• Communicate with suppliers on order status, specifications, and resolve any discrepancies.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in stock management or goods purchasing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field (Master’s in Logistics is a plus).
• Fluent in English; Arabic required, French a plus.
• Strong knowledge of procurement cycles, policies and procedures.
• Ability to analyse data from multiple sources and produce accurate reports.
• Excellent planning, organization, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Capable of multitasking in a fast‑paced environment.
