Pharmacist

About the role

AMB Retail Group, a diversified retail organization that includes pharmacy brands such as Mazen Pharmacy, is hiring a full-time, on-site Pharmacist in Beirut. The pharmacist dispenses medications accurately, reviews prescriptions for safety and appropriateness, and guides customers on proper use, side effects and interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately and review prescriptions for safety and appropriateness
• Provide clear guidance to customers on proper medication use, side effects and interactions
• Manage inventory and stock levels and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations
• Maintain accurate records and support over-the-counter product recommendations
• Collaborate with colleagues to uphold customer service standards and contribute to health promotion activities

Required profile

• Licensed Pharmacist with a recognized degree in Pharmacy and eligibility to practice in Beirut
• Previous experience in community pharmacies is mandatory
• Ability to cover flexible shifts (AM - PM)
• Proficiency in the relevant languages of the local customer base

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of medications, therapeutic indications, dosage forms and potential interactions
• Clear, empathetic and professional patient counseling and customer service
• Experience with pharmacy inventory management, dispensing systems and prescription processing
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills and commitment to regulatory and ethical standards
• Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced retail environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
