Managing Consultant, Services Business Development, Analytics

About the role

Mastercard’s professional services practice is seeking a Managing Consultant to lead sales engagements and drive business development for analytics, AI and data solutions across West Arabia. The role combines consultative selling, solution design and thought leadership to expand the firm’s market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead consultative sales engagements covering Analytics, AI, Data Strategy, Data Engineering, MLOps and Cloud across multiple industry verticals.
• Identify, qualify and close new business opportunities while nurturing senior client relationships to meet sales targets.
• Develop high‑quality proposals, RFP responses and pitch materials aligned with client objectives.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking and thought‑leadership activities.
• Design integrated, industry‑agnostic solutions and author articles, blogs and whitepapers on emerging AI and data trends.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in management consulting, technology advisory or data/AI roles with a proven record of delivering measurable outcomes.
• Strong ability to manage complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles and develop trusted relationships with C‑suite executives.
• Deep expertise in analytics, AI, data strategy, data engineering, MLOps and cloud‑enabled solutions.

Required skills

• Hands‑on knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with Generative AI technologies and AI/ML frameworks.
• Proficiency in data engineering concepts such as pipelines, lakehouses and data mesh.
• Understanding of MLOps practices including model deployment and monitoring.
