Junior Social Media Specialist / Content Creator

About the role

Born Interactive is seeking a Junior Social Media Specialist / Content Creator to develop and manage engaging content across multiple platforms. The role combines copywriting, short‑form video production, and community support to help clients boost their digital presence.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise, write and produce captions, stories, reels and short‑form videos for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and other platforms.
• Support the creation and maintenance of monthly content calendars and campaign roll‑outs.
• Film, edit and adapt social media assets using mobile devices and design tools.
• Stay up‑to‑date with platform features, trends, formats, sounds and culturally relevant topics.
• Schedule and publish content, monitor comments, messages and audience interactions.
• Coordinate with designers, account managers, videographers and other team members to ensure timely delivery.
• Communicate professionally with clients, gather feedback and follow up on requirements.
• Assist with basic social media reporting and performance metric tracking.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration or related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in social media, content creation or digital communication, preferably in an agency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic; French a plus.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, formats, features and best practices.
• Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks across different clients.
