About the role
A large group active in the MENA region, whose main businesses are financial services, real estate, trading and manufacturing, is looking for a Junior Accountant based in Lebanon. The position is full-time.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries, including those for accrued expenses and revenue
- Reconcile monthly bank accounts to the general ledger
- Update accounts receivable and issue invoices, and update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
- Maintain and record fixed assets
- Update financial data in databases so it stays accurate and readily available
- Assist senior accountants with monthly and yearly closings and other accounting projects
Required profile
- University degree in Accounting or Finance
- Fluent English or French (speaking and writing)
- Dedicated and committed
Required skills
- Solid accounting and tax knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
