Junior Accountant

About the role

The Junior Accountant will support the finance and advisory teams with day‑to‑day accounting activities. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in the Beirut Governorate and involves maintaining accurate client and internal accounting records.

Key responsibilities

• Record journal entries, reconcile accounts, and assist in preparing financial statements and management reports.
• Maintain general ledgers, track expenses, and ensure timely data entry for both client and internal records.
• Prepare documentation for audits, support internal controls, and provide reliable data for financial modeling and valuation work.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; interest in professional certifications is a plus.
• Strong foundational skills in financial accounting, general ledger management, and basic internal control principles.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and uphold confidentiality and integrity.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and structured spreadsheets.
