Accounting Intern

About the role

Elekron Ventures, a venture capital firm and venture builder, is seeking a motivated Accounting Intern to gain hands‑on experience in real‑world accounting and financial reporting. This unpaid, part‑time position offers exposure to the full accounting cycle within a dynamic startup environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the month‑end closing process and preparation of closing entries.
• Assist with account reconciliations and review of accounting records.
• Prepare and review Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and other financial reports.
• Participate in financial review meetings to discuss P&L performance, expenses, and variances.
• Record and review invoices, expenses, payments, and journal entries.
• Identify discrepancies and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Support the finance team with additional accounting and reporting activities as required.

Required profile

• Student or recent graduate in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Willingness to learn and work with real accounting data and processes.
