IT Help Desk Specialist - Remote

About the role

We run sales and support teams across several health and wellness brands that rely on Salesforce, a cloud phone system and a business texting platform. As the first point of contact for 150+ users, you will resolve technical issues, manage accounts and keep the support dashboard empty.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a zero‑ticket dashboard by resolving or properly escalating support requests.
• Provision and de‑provision user accounts in Salesforce, Vonage, SMS Magic and other tools.
• Troubleshoot calling, callback and voicemail problems, coordinating with Vonage support when needed.
• Manage business phone numbers, including assignments, releases and carrier spam‑label removal.
• Process privacy‑related call‑recording deletions and correct sales/order record mismatches flagged by automated checks.

Required profile

• 2+ years in IT help desk, technical support or contact‑center support.
• Self‑motivated, organized and able to manage time with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and spoken English; most communication occurs via tickets and Slack.
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace for the full 7:30 AM‑3:30 PM CT schedule.

Required skills

• Salesforce administration (user, permission and record management).
• Vonage or similar cloud contact‑center platform.
• SMS Magic or comparable business texting platform.
• Strong troubleshooting ability to diagnose vague “it’s not working” issues.
