Head of Operations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Operations to lead the operational backbone of our fast‑growing fintech platform. The role requires a hands‑on leader with deep knowledge of banking, payments and e‑wallet services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement operational processes, procedures and internal controls.
• Oversee cash‑in, cash‑out, wallet transfers and payment operations.
• Manage reconciliation, settlement and transaction monitoring.
• Coordinate with Compliance, Finance, Technology and Customer Support teams.
• Supervise agent, merchant and banking partner operations.
• Set operational KPIs and service‑quality standards.
• Handle operational risks, incidents and escalations.
• Support AML/KYC and regulatory requirements.
• Build and scale the Operations team.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in fintech, banking, payments or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of payment and transaction operations.
• Understanding of AML/KYC and compliance processes.
• Proven leadership and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to build processes from the ground up.
• Fluent in Arabic and English; French a plus.
