Fundraising Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and results‑driven Fundraising Specialist to lead the implementation of fundraising strategies for our rapidly growing startup. The role involves collaborating with the executive team to identify funding needs, devise strategic plans, and build strong investor relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and foster relationships with potential investors, including angel investors, venture capitalists, and private equity firms.
• Edit, update and present compelling pitch decks, financial forecasts, and other materials to secure investments.
• Oversee preparation and submission of documentation for investors during due diligence.
• Manage funding rounds (Seed, Series A, etc.), negotiating terms and conditions.
• Maintain strong relationships with current investors, providing regular performance updates.
• Stay informed about potential funding sources through market research.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with the startup’s growth stage.
• Provide regular reports to leadership on fundraising progress and financial milestones.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fundraising, investor relations, or venture capital within the startup ecosystem.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, PR, Sales or a related field (MBA desirable).
• Proactive, self‑starting individual who thrives in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong network within the startup and investment community is highly advantageous.
