Director of Finance – Africa Region (Based in Beirut)

About the role

The Director of Finance – Africa Region will lead the financial strategy and operations for the Africa footprint while being based in Beirut. This full‑time, on‑site position is responsible for aligning regional financial activities with global corporate objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning for Africa‑wide initiatives.
• Oversee financial reporting cycles, prepare and review financial statements, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor cash flow, manage risk, and support investment decisions in collaboration with regional and corporate leadership.
• Build, mentor and lead finance teams across multiple African markets.
• Implement robust internal controls and contribute to governance frameworks.

Required profile

• Proven senior finance leadership experience, preferably in multinational or multi‑country environments.
• Strong background in financial planning, budgeting, scenario analysis and strategic financial modeling.
• Deep understanding of African regulatory, tax and compliance environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and work effectively with executive stakeholders.
• Professional finance qualifications such as CPA, ACCA or CFA and/or a graduate degree in finance, accounting or business administration.
