Digital Designer & Animator (Academic Assistant)

About the role

We are looking for a creative and technically skilled Digital Designer with a strong focus on animation and video editing to join our academic team. The successful candidate will collaborate with marketing, social media, and communications colleagues to produce engaging visual content for a variety of digital platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Create short‑form videos, motion graphics, animated assets and static visuals for campaigns and social media.
• Edit raw footage into polished videos that align with the Communication Officer’s vision and are ready for broadcast or online distribution.
• Develop storyboards, style frames and motion mock‑ups for digital campaigns.
• Design UI/UX elements for websites (a plus) and ensure brand consistency across all motion assets.
• Stay current with design, animation and video‑editing trends and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, Multimedia Arts or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating animation and video‑editing work.
• Ability to work collaboratively, accept feedback and maintain high attention to detail.
