Cybersecurity Sales Engineer

About the role

The Cybersecurity Sales Engineer develops new business opportunities, manages the full sales lifecycle and builds long-term relationships with customers and partners. The role combines cybersecurity technical understanding with consultative sales, moving prospects from initial contact through to closure and handover.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and develop new customers and opportunities in Lebanon and Syria through direct outreach, networking, partners, events and referrals.
• Manage the complete sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, solution proposal, negotiation, closing and handover.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable cybersecurity products and services.
• Hold customer meetings, presentations, solution briefings, product demos and technical discussions with technical and business stakeholders.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and RFP responses with internal technical and implementation teams.
• Negotiate commercial terms within company guidelines and build a strong sales pipeline with accurate forecasts.
• Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities and research target markets, trends and competitors.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and follow up consistently with prospects and customers.
• Coordinate with technical and implementation teams during project deployment and support projects ad hoc.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in a related field, including 2-3 years in sales; knowledge of the Lebanese market; cybersecurity experience is a strong plus.
• Fluent English (speaking, reading and writing).
• Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills, detail-oriented and able to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Ability to prepare quotations, proposals and RFP responses.
