Credit Officer – Credit Administration & Monitoring

About the role

The Credit Officer will manage credit administration, monitoring and control activities for a financial institution. You will assess credit applications, ensure accurate documentation, and support regulatory reporting while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review credit applications and evaluate customers' creditworthiness.
• Conduct credit checks, analyse financial information and verify loan terms, interest rates, fees and commissions in the system.
• Monitor credit files, ensure completeness of documentation, signatures and borrower data.
• Perform daily CDR inquiries and assist in the monthly CDR declaration to the central bank.
• Prepare and submit required regulatory reports on time.
• Track delinquent accounts, coordinate follow‑up actions and manage special approvals for rate, fee or loan rescheduling.
• Coordinate with Risk, Legal, Compliance, IT, Customer Service and other departments to ensure smooth credit operations.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in documentation, systems or credit administration processes.
• Maintain accurate credit records, trackers and supporting reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in credit, lending, credit administration, banking, fintech or financial services.
• Professional proficiency in the local language and English.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Ability to handle confidential financial and customer information.
