Counter Sales Associate – Food Service

About the role

The Counter Sales Associate is responsible for delivering high‑quality service to walk‑in customers and ensuring that all food items displayed at the counter are sold efficiently. You will manage order preparation, cash handling, and maintain a clean, hygienic environment while supporting opening and closing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and serve walk‑in customers, providing product knowledge and adhering to service procedures.
• Process orders from waitstaff, arrange them according to standards, and ensure timely delivery.
• Receive daily stock, verify items against specifications, display them in the fridge, and restock regularly while maintaining hygiene.
• Participate in opening and closing duties following internal norms.
• Maintain and report daily records such as training logs, taste panels, and wastage forms.
• Handle cash transactions, exchanges, and money movements in line with policy.
• Place product orders by coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare and wrap takeaway orders, including special requests.
• Document handover details in the logbook for seamless team communication.
• Apply “Clean as you go” practices and regularly sanitize the counter display.
• Complete monthly inventory of disposable consumables.

Required profile

• High school diploma.
• 0–1 year experience in customer service or a similar role.
• Fluency in English.

Required skills

• Proven expertise in chocolate handling (preferred).
