Communications Officer

About the role

The Professional Training Center (CFP) at Université Saint-Joseph de Beyrouth is looking for a creative and proactive Communications Officer. You will lead the centre’s internal and external communication, strengthen its digital presence, and produce engaging content that aligns with USJ’s institutional identity.

Key responsibilities

• Manage CFP’s social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.) and develop an editorial calendar.
• Create and publish posts, stories, flyers, brochures, and other visual assets for training programs and events.
• Monitor, analyse and report on social‑media performance, establishing KPIs and providing optimisation recommendations.
• Maintain and update the CFP website in coordination with the USJ Communication Team.
• Design graphics and visual materials using Canva, PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Write, edit and proofread articles, press releases, newsletters and other editorial content.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Collaborative team player capable of working across departments.

Required skills

• Experience with social‑media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook).
• Proficiency in social‑media analytics tools.
• Graphic‑design skills using Canva, PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Basic website‑content management.
