Business Development Executive

About the role

Black Phoenix is looking for a Business Development Executive to generate and close new opportunities for its Strategic & Operational Risk Advisory (SORA) services across regional markets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for SORA.
• Build relationships with senior decision‑makers in government, diplomatic missions, corporations and other institutions.
• Leverage existing networks to generate qualified introductions and opportunities.
• Lead opportunities from introduction through qualification, proposal, negotiation and close.
• Collaborate with the Black Phoenix Intelligence team to craft solutions and proposals.
• Maintain long‑term client relationships and pursue renewals or expanded engagements.
• Provide market intelligence on client needs, procurement processes and emerging opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2G and/or B2B business development or sales.
• Track record selling high‑value services such as consulting, technology, security or risk solutions.
• Understanding of long, relationship‑driven sales cycles.
• Established professional relationships with senior decision‑makers (highly desirable).
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to work independently in sensitive environments.
• Excellent English; additional languages are a plus.
