Automotive Sales Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated, customer‑focused Automotive Sales Consultant to join our showroom team. You will guide customers through the entire buying journey, from initial inquiry to vehicle delivery, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting new or pre‑owned vehicles that match their needs, preferences, and budget.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
• Generate leads through walk‑ins, referrals, digital inquiries, and outbound prospecting.
• Conduct vehicle presentations, test drives, and highlight key features and benefits.
• Prepare quotations, financing options, trade‑in evaluations, and complete sales documentation.
• Negotiate sales agreements in line with company policies and pricing guidelines.
• Coordinate with finance, insurance, and after‑sales departments to ensure a smooth transaction.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities in the CRM system.
• Follow up with customers before and after delivery to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets and KPIs.
• Stay updated on product specifications, competitor offerings, pricing, and market trends.
• Participate in promotional events, exhibitions, and marketing campaigns.
• Ensure the showroom and display vehicles are presented to the highest standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the automotive sector.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Customer‑oriented with excellent relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and able to work under pressure.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Fluency in English; French is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience using CRM software.
