About the role
The Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for managing the company's outgoing payments and ensuring that all expenses are accurately recorded. This role plays a critical part in maintaining financial integrity by processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
Key responsibilities
- Track all payments and expenditures, including invoices and statements.
- Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
- Maintain a historical record of all accounts payable transactions.
- Prepare analyses of accounts and produce monthly financial reports.
- Continuously improve the payment process for efficiency and accuracy.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in accounts payable or finance.
