Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will manage the company’s accounting activities, ensuring complete, accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in line with company policies, Lebanese statutory requirements and ERP procedures. The role supports the Finance Manager by maintaining records, preparing reports and ensuring internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Record all accounting transactions accurately in the Dolphin ERP system and maintain the General Ledger.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, provisions, depreciation, amortization and adjusting entries, and perform month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing.
• Reconcile customer and supplier accounts, monitor aging reports and follow up overdue balances.
• Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations and supervise petty‑cash management.
• Maintain fixed‑asset records, conduct physical counts and calculate depreciation.
• Prepare VAT reports, tax schedules and support tax declarations.

Required profile

• Team‑spirited with strong analytical, negotiation and communication abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to cope with change and resolve conflicts.
• Computer literate with good working knowledge of MS Office.
• Proficient in using Dolphin ERP for accounting processes.
