Accountant (QuickBooks Online & Desktop required)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Accountant to manage bank reconciliations, prepare financial statements, and handle payroll. You will ensure accurate books, produce clear reports, and maintain audit‑ready records while working fully remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Perform bank, credit‑card and other balance‑sheet account reconciliations.
• Prepare and review cash‑basis financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss.
• Manage payroll processing with precision and timeliness.
• Post adjusting journal entries and correct accounting errors.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and maintain organized financial documentation.

Required profile

• 4+ years of relevant accounting experience; senior accountant experience preferred.
• Strong hands‑on experience with cash‑basis accounting and independent discrepancy resolution.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and communicate promptly on issues.

Required skills

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop.
• Experience with bank and credit‑card reconciliations.
• Experience preparing adjusting journal entries.
• Knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
